Donate for Syrian refugees

Lahore, 14 April 2017: PIMA requested the nation to come forward with PIMA to provide medical assistance to Syrian refugees. This is the worst crisis as more than half of all Syrians have been forced to leave their country. PIMA providing medical assistance to the refugees including the orphans in Krikhan (Turkey), located closer to the Syrian border; here, more than 50% of the population comprised refugees.

Prof Khubaib Shahid, GS PIMA briefed the media on the issue and PIMA contribution along with Prof Muhammad Afzal Mian, Dr Fakhar uz Zaman, Dr Muhammad Imran Zafar and Dr Hafiz Maqsood Ali at Lahore Press Club on April 13.

“PIMA has so far donated US $85,000 to meet the medical and health needs of refugees located in Turkey. PIMA also planning to send another delegation comprising 20 doctors of different specialties after Ramadan. We hope to raise over half a million US Dollars to cater the needs of orphans, and to meet the medical and health needs of refugees for at least one year.
