Speakers highlighted that, according to the United Nations, the situation in Gaza remains among the worst humanitarian crises in the world. In this context, the Global Sumud Flotilla, an international convoy of human rights organizations, activists, medical professionals, and social leaders, has set sail to break the siege of Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid. The flotilla carries medical supplies, food, and medicines, symbolizing that the people of Gaza are not alone.
The Global Sumud Flotilla reflects how the world is increasingly recognizing Israel’s brutal nature. At the Karachi seminar, Pakistani health workers expressed their complete support for this initiative and urged the international community to take immediate steps to end the blockade, ensure humanitarian assistance, and protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
The program concluded with prayers for the safety of the flotilla participants and the success of their mission.
