Karachi, 18 September 2025: PIMA Women Self Care Project organized a Cervical Cancer Screening Workshop titled “Prevent Today, Protect Tomorrow” on 17th September at Alkhidmat Diagnostics, Nazimabad, Karachi.
The workshop featured expert talks by Dr. Aliya Aziz (Gynecologic Oncologist, AKUH), Dr. Munazza A. Khalid (Asst. Prof. & Consultant Gynae/Obs, AKUH), and Dr. Azra Jamil (Consultant Gynaecologist, Ex-President PIMA Women Branch).
Participants received hands-on training in Pap Smear (liquid-based cytology & conventional slide methods), VIA & VILI techniques, instrument handling, sterilization methods, and documentation/reporting.
The session was graced by Dr. Zakia Aurangzeb (President, PIMA Women Branch) as Chief Guest and directed by Dr. Farhana Masood (Incharge, Women Self Care Project).
A large number of doctors attended and benefited from this comprehensive training.
