PIMA Thar Relief, highlights on BBC

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) highlighted the PIMA relief activities for the Thar drought-hit people in its recent report on 14 January 2016. Mr Wusat Ullah Khan, senior analysis reported that Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has provided medical and surgical instruments worth Rs; 600,000, a senior technician to Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and also installed a line in NICU for Oxygen supply instead of cylinders in Mithi Hospital. He further reported that PIMA has extended its services for another year on the request of Mithi Hospital administration where PIMA technician is also providing training to the 5 local volunteers for health care of children.
