With consensus, Dr Jan Alam was nominated as president and Dr Afzal Siraj as Secretary of PIMA GB. The oath taking ceremony was held during the 2-day visit of PIMA Central President Dr Abdul Malik in a local hotel. He was accompanied by Past PIMA Presidents Dr Muhammad Iqbal Khalil, Dr Misbahul Aziz and Prof Sohail Akhtar on 2-3 May 2016. They participated in meetings with local doctors in Chilas and Gilgit.<\/p>\n<p>A clinical meeting was held at Gilgit with lectures on \u201cTobacco; Medical, Social and Religious Aspects\u201d by Prof Sohail Akhtar, and \u201cPrevention of Blindness in Pakistan\u201d by Dr Misbahul Aziz. Dr Iqbal Khalil presented PIMA introduction.
