Preparations for the convention are underway.<\/p>\n<p>The program of the convention will include thematic lectures by renowned scholars, state of the art presentations by experts in various medical disciplines, talk on medical ethics and character building and panel discussions on issues facing the profession, said a press release.<\/p>\n<p>Five pre-convention workshops are concurrent sessions held on Friday, 30 March. The topics are including \u201cTransfusion Medicine: hands on update techniques\u201d, \u201cManagement of Hepatitis-C in the era of direct acting antivirals\u201d, \u201cBreast Cancer: challenges of the day\u201d, \u201cChildhood vaccination: benefits and future directions\u201d and \u201cBasics of laparoscopic surgery\u201d.
