Course themes are &#8220;Foundations of ethics and professionalism in Islamic perspective&#8221;, &#8220;Character and behavior of a Muslim doctor&#8221;, &#8220;Excellence\/ technical competence&#8221; and &#8220;Ethical issues in health care: what a Muslim doctor should know?&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first contact session was held at Islamic International Medical College Rawalpindi on 12-13 March 2022. The program started with Darse Quran by Dr. Abdul Aziz Zia, Incharge PIMA Dawah and Tarbiah. Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad, Vice Chancellor Riphah International University Islamabad; Prof. Dr. Hafiz Ijaz Ahmad, Former Dean Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute Lahore; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Vice-Chancellor Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University Islamabad; Prof. Dr. Najibul Haq, Former Dean Peshawar Medical College, Peshawar and Prof. Idrees Anwar, renowned medical educationist and professor of surgery at Rawalpindi Medical University were core facilitators of this session. A total of 45 registered professionals comprising central and provincial office-bearers of PIMA participated in the session.
