Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has applauded the decision of Sindh Government to conduct a large-scale vaccination campaign, especially targeting those who missed their vaccination during Covid Pandemic and has called for its extension across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central President of PIMA, Prof. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui praised this commendable initiative aimed at preventing diseases that severely impact children’s health. He noted that in recent days, diphtheria has emerged as an epidemic in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa affecting a large number of children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized the need for a nationwide campaign to ensure 100% vaccination of children and urged immediate steps to make the EPI more effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PIMA President further stated that other provinces should follow Sindh’s lead to improve our national public health system. Such efforts are essential for safeguarding our future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui also appealed to all parents and guardians to actively participate in this campaign and ensure their children receive vaccinations to protect their health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
