‘Save Dignity’ Camp at Sudan

Islamabad, 13 March 2019: A ‘Save Dignity’ Camp lead by Prof Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Vice chancellor Shifa Tameer e Millat University Islamabad and in charge PIMA International Relief, under FIMA’s “save dignity” department, was held at Darfur, Sudan between 15-25 December 2018. A team of surgeons participated in the camp held specifically for repair of recto vaginal and vesico-vaginal fistulae. A total of 51 fistulae were repaired. Some of the suffering patients had waited for over 20 years to get this surgical procedure!

Another camp was held at Mangochi, Malawi on between 1-9 February 2019, where 34 surgeries were performed by Prof Muhammad Iqbal Khan.
