The first session of the Radiology Workshops, organized by PIMA Peshawar, was successfully conducted at Kuwait Teaching Hospital on 8 June 2024. This workshop was held in collaboration with Peshawar Medical College. The workshop commenced with a talk by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tayyab, Clinical Director of Peshawar Medical College and Incharge of CME PIMA Pakistan, who introduced PIMA and outlined the objectives of these workshops.
Renowned Interventional Radiologist Prof. Dr. Abdul Majid, Head of Radiology at PMC, led a 2-hour interactive session on the basics of radiology. The next session will focus on the radiology of the GI system, specifically for general surgeons and gastroenterologists.
