Announcement of PIMA Central Convention 2018

Lahore, 12 March 2018: Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has announced the two-day international doctor’s convention, which will be started at Aiwan e Iqbal, Lahore from 31 March. Senior medical professionals from the country and abroad will share information about improvement in the technical and scientific equipment’s and the way of treatment. Over 3,000 doctors are expected to participate in this event.

Prof Dr Hafiz Ijaz Ahmad has been appointed as chairman organizing committee. He said that federal and provincial health ministers, Medical Universities Vice Chancellors and leading medical professionals, likely to attend the Convention. Special sessions on health advocacy, health policy, medical education and medical ethics will be conducted by the experts from all over the country and abroad.

He said that the PIMA Convention will be a breakthrough to increase the professional knowledge, promotion of medical ethics and to highlight and solve the issues faced by doctors’ community.
