Islamabad, 14 July 2016: Ministry of Religious Affairs approved booklet on Hajj and Health prepared by Pakistan Islamic medical Association (PIMA) to distribute among the Hajj pilgrims. The State Minister of Religious Affairs Pir Amin AlHansat Shah stated that this booklet provides guidance and awareness and very common and easy way to pilgrims regarding their medical problems.
Ex PIMA President Prof Muhammad Tariq and senior office bearer Prof Muhammad Iqbal Khan met with state minister on Saturday and briefed him about the this new PIMA publication, titled “Hajj and Umrah travel and your health”.
Prof Muhammad tariq asked him that this document is prepared with the consultation of related health experts and covered with all precautions and general medical advices for diabetes, blood pressure, heart diseases, asthama, alergy, skin, eye and hepatitis patients. The booklet also includes the general medicine chart and medical advice for women.
The state minister appreciated the PIMA effort and advised the concern authorities to distribute it among Hajj pilgrims.
