Islamabad, 3 April 2018: Prof Dr Muhammad Afzal Mian has been elected as central President of PIMA for the session 2018-20. He took oath at the 25th Biennial International Convention held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal Lahore.
He is Professor of surgery in College of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Lahore. He served in different responsibilities in PIMA including president PIMA Punjab, central vice president and incharge relief.
The central executive council comprising 32 members was also elected; the newly-elected members include 11 from Punjab, 11 from Sindh, 6 from KPK, 2 from Azad Kashmir, 1 from Gilgit Baltistan and 1 from Balochistan.
