Breast Cancer Awareness Sessions Benefit Hundreds of Women Across Sindh

A series of breast cancer awareness sessions were recently conducted across Sindh, focusing on educating participants about breast cancer risk factors, the importance of early detection, and the need for timely referrals to appropriate healthcare professionals.
The sessions, attended by hundreds of women and students, were held in Hyderabad, Hala, and Matiari. Informational brochures were distributed to enhance awareness.
In Hala, at the Al-Muhsanat Mansoora Madrasa, 165 students and 15 teachers participated in the session led by Dr. Fatima Shaoor. She also conducted OPD, providing consultations to the attendees.
In Bhit Shah, Matiari, the session was organized by Dr. Erum Zain, further expanding the reach of the campaign in rural areas.
In Hyderabad, seven sessions were conducted in total. At Gynae Unit 2, Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), over 100 participants attended a session led by Dr. Najma, Head of Department. Dr. Sobai Fasih conducted four additional sessions, three at Shah Bhitai Hospital OPD and one at Poly Technique Girls College. Another session was led by Dr. Rabia in CDF.
