Nationwide Ramadan Programs by PIMA

Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, the Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) organized a series of diverse programs aimed at fostering spiritual growth and professional development among medical professionals nationwide. These programs included iftar gatherings, night vigils (Shab-e-Bedaris), online lecture series, and Doura-e-Quran sessions, which were attended by hundreds of medical practitioners and students.

These programs were held in various cities, including Lahore, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Qasur, Faisalabad, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Bhimber, Karachi, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Peshawar, Swat, Haripur, Abbottabad, Charsada, Upper Dir, Islamabad, Quetta, and Jhal Magsi.

PIMA Women’s Wing organized nationwide Doura e Quran programs, comprising both online and physical programs at individual and collective levels. In the last Ashra of the holy month, PIMA Women’s Wing centrally organized a lecture series featuring six prominent scholars: Dr. Faryan Ambreen on وما ادراک ما لیلۃ القدر, Dr. Humaira Tariq on قد افلح من زکٰھا, Dr. Tamia Sabeeha on تدبر قرآن کی جہتیں, Dr. Ayesha Ali on اصحاب الجنۃ ھم الفائزون, Dr. Zakia Aurangzeb on تقویٰ معاہدات و معاملات, and Dr. Javeria Saeed on رمضان غلبہ دین کا مہینہ. Each session was attended by over 100 female doctors.

PIMA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a series of Iftar parties across various medical institutions in the province for associate members. The programs took place at Afridi Medical Complex Peshawar, Nowshera Medical College, Bacha Khan Medical College Mardan, KMU Institute of Medical Sciences Kohat, KMU Institute of Dental Sciences Kohat, and Khyber Medical College Peshawar.
