Nationwide Tarbiah Camps focused on personal development and Islamic education

PIMA Women Wing organized Tarbiah Camps in different cities focused on personal development and continuous Islamic education.
Karachi
In Karachi, the camp took place on 9 June 2024, at Dar-e-Arqam Islamic Centre and was attended by 70 senior and young healthcare professionals, PIMA members, and associates.
The program began with a Darse Quran on Surah At-Takathur, delivered by Scholar Afshan Naved. This was followed by a fruitful presentation on Islam and medical ethics by Dr. Hala Ahmad.
Central President of PIMA Women’s Wing, Dr. Nusrat Iqbal, then delivered a talk on the organizational framework of PIMA. The event concluded with a panel discussion on the work-life balance problems faced by doctors in their daily lives and possible solutions. Additionally, a separate session featuring fun and engaging activities for children was arranged.
Lahore
In Lahore on 2 June, Dr. Shagufta Khalid delivered a Darse Quran on Surah At-Takathur, stressing that we should always remember our accountability in the hereafter.
Dr. Amtullah Zareen emphasized the importance of becoming good Muslim doctors, adhering to principles without compromise, and learning from scholars and mentors. She answered participants’ questions and provided solutions to the issues they faced.
Dr. Sarwat Ara, President of PIMA Punjab, highlighted the significance of organization and teamwork, explaining the necessity of PIMA and the needs of collective work. She noted that collective effort is crucial for establishing faith and urged cooperation and support with team leaders.
Dr. Umm Kulthum explained that studying and following the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and the companions is essential for living a balanced life. She advised against getting entangled in non-essential matters and encouraged participants to focus on their responsibilities.
Islamabad/ Rawalpindi
Tarbiah camp organized by PIMA Women Wing Islamabad/ Rawalpindi took place on 2 June at Masjid Al-Furqan. The event was attended by 30 doctors, including faculty members and postgraduate students from various hospitals. The program featured four sessions: Surah At-Takathur, conducted by Dr. Aatika Minhas; Effective Organization, led by Dr. Maryam Azam; Work-Life Balance, presented by Dr. Naveed Butt; and Medical Ethics, discussed by Dr. Shumaila Shareef. Simultaneously, interactive and engaging activities were organized for children.
Hyderabad
On 26 May 2024, PIMA Women’s Wing Hyderabad organized a training session, specially attended by members of the Central Council Dr. Shaista Adnan, Dr. Rubina, and Dr. Seema Malik from Karachi. This training session was held at the Academy of Islamic Research and Development, and 30 doctors participated. The session began with recitation of the Holy Quran and an introduction to PIMA. Dr. Seema Malik conducted the first program on “Surah At-Takathur,” Dr. Rabia Ibrahim conducted the second program on “Professionalism and Islamic Ethics,” and Dr. Shaista Adnan conducted the third program on “The Importance of Organizational Structure in the Islamic Movement.” President of PIMA Women’s Wing Hyderabad, Dr. Safina expressed gratitude to all guests and participants in the concluding remarks. The training session concluded with a prayer led by Dr. Rubina.
