PIMA Dawah and Tarbiah hosted an online session on February 27th, with Prof. Omer Hasan Kasule from Riyadh, KSA, as the guest speaker. Prof. Kasule, a distinguished figure in both Epidemiology and Bioethics, serves at King Fahad Medical City, and Chairman of IRB Research Ethics Committee, at King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Hospital.
The program commenced with inaugural remarks by Prof. Anis Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor of Riphah University. He warmly welcomed both the guest speaker and participants, shedding light on the significance of ethical practices in the realm of medicine. During the session, Prof. Kasule delved into the Challenges of Ethics and Professionalism in Medical Practice, addressing crucial issues within the field followed by the question and answer session. Dr. Abdul Aziz Zia moderated the program.
