Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has condemned in the strongest possible terms the attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza, as reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health. PIMA denounces the deliberate targeting of healthcare facilities, ambulances, and medical personnel, calling it a grave violation of international law and a direct assault on humanity.

PIMA President, Prof. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui, expressed deep concern over the ongoing violence against innocent civilians and healthcare workers in Gaza. He called for immediate international intervention to protect lives and ensure the safety of medical staff and patients.

“For over a year, Israeli occupation forces have continuously violated the Geneva Convention with impunity. The silence of the international community in the face of these repeated atrocities is nothing short of complicity in genocide,” Prof. Siddiqui stated. PIMA stands in unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and urges international institutions to take immediate and decisive action to end this atrocity. The global leadership must fulfill their obligation to uphold justice, protect human rights, and prevent further bloodshed in Gaza.

پیما کی غزہ میں کمال عدوان اسپتال پر حملے کی شدید مذمت، فوری بین الاقوامی مداخلت کا مطالبہ

پاکستان اسلامک میڈیکل ایسوسی ایشن (پیما) نے غزہ میں کمال عدوان اسپتال پر ہونے والے حملے کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کی ہے۔ پیما نے صحت کی سہولیات، ایمبولینسز اور طبی عملے کو نشانہ بنانے کے عمل کو بین الاقوامی قوانین کی سنگین خلاف ورزی اور انسانیت پر براہِ راست حملہ قرار دیا ہے۔

پیما کے مرکزی صدر پروفیسر عاطف حفیظ صدیقی نے معصوم شہریوں اور غزہ کے طبی عملے کے خلاف جاری تشدد پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے فوری بین الاقوامی مداخلت کا مطالبہ کیا تاکہ ان بے گناہ جانوں کا تحفظ یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ’’گزشتہ ایک سال سے اسرائیلی قابض افواج مسلسل جنیوا کنونشن کی خلاف ورزی کرتی آ رہی ہیں، اور عالمی برادری کی خاموشی ان ظالمانہ واقعات پر عملی طور پر نسل کشی میں شریک ہونے کے مترادف ہے۔‘‘

انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان ڈاکٹرز فلسطینی عوام کے ساتھ مکمل یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتے ہیں اور بین الاقوامی اداروں سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ وہ فوری اور ٹھوس اقدامات کریں تاکہ اس ظلم کو روکا جا سکے۔ عالمی قیادت کا یہ فرض ہے کہ وہ انصاف اور انسانی حقوق کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنائے اور غزہ میں مزید خونریزی کو روکے۔
